Using conductive paint, I painted 2 thin strips along the coping of the ledge. One strip connected to ground and the other to a DSLR's shutter with copper tape. The tape runs from the end of the 2 paint stripes and into a cord I've spliced and soldered into my DSLR. Once the truck of the skateboard makes contact with the ledge, a photo is snapped and uploaded to this site.
When finding the sweet spot on the given obstacle, we paint 2 conductive lines of paint. One connected to ground and the other connected to the shutter of the camera through copper tape.
With the copper tape connected the camera through a spliced audio jack cable, the camera is ready. Once a the truck of a skateboard makes contact with painted obstacle, the camera is triggered and a photo is snapped.
When the photo is snapped, it is then shared to a Flickr feed, as well as this website. One can then go on their phone and search the tagged camera location to share out to their own social networks.
